Topic: Help. Splinter Cell Install Softmod Not Installing. Any Ideas? (Read 35 times)

I'm using the Splinter Cell exploit to Soft Mod an Xbox.
Using Splinter.Cell.v2.0.PAL.** Links to Xbox Warez and Torrents **.zip and SID.Splinter.Cell.v2.0.** Links to Xbox Warez and Torrents **.zip

This is the second xbox I've tried to install. The first one worked as it was supposed to.
However, this time after I've "Create MS Backup", I then go to use "Install Softmod" and it doesn't fully install, and only wipes the C:Drive. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

When I press "Install Softmod" it starts to copy the files to the E:Drive but seems to get stuck and stops copying the files. It gets stuck at about 70% while extracting.

I've since used "Restore MS Backup", switched on and off, and used Halo 2 and Burnout 3 to get the updates. But this hasn't helped.

Any ideas about getting it to work. Cheers

I would recommend that you use Krayzie Ndure Installer v1.1 which you can get from xbins and install that softmod. It has worked all the times I have softmodded my own xbox and friends' xboxes. It has never given me any problems and it's practically dummy proof (not saying that you're a dummy (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) ). Unfortunately, I am not familiar with "SID.Splinter.Cell.v2.0." softmod. Sorry.

P.S Can you at least boot to your MS Dash because I'm thinking from your message you can't.... just wondering, so I'm sure.

when you use an installer like that it's not strange such things happen
