i had a problem today i was switching out the hd's on a softmod hd upgrade. i noticed that when i put configmagic on the hd it couldnt unlock the hd. i locked it with xboxhdm_v1.9. anyway i still have the unlock disc so no problem to reuse the drive but i was wondering why i couldnt do it. i reinstalled configmagic on the xbox 3 times and have had no problems on chipped xboxs where i used configmagic to lock the hd once it was in the box.

put your eeprom in your eemprom folder on xboxhdm and use option 3 on the cd and type unlockhd -a
