Xbox-linux!

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) so xbox-linux says installing linux on a v1.6 is impossible with out a 1.6 compatible chip. what if my 1.6 was already softmodded? could i install linux then?

Yeah, it's possible. The biggest problems with Linux on a 1.6 was that the Xbox-Linux sanctioned softmodder (IE, one that was developed to try and prevent illegal use) wasn't capable of hacking through a 1.6. The other thing is the video encoder. It *should* work, but I'd check the XBox Linux crew's Wiki just to be sure.
