i used the rescue disk which is inc in Krayzie's ndure 1.1, to try to recover my dashboard and now when i boot up my xbox i get a message saying your xbox requires service what did i do wrong and how can i fix it??

the error code is 21

krayzie wen u make ur rescue disk, has it got to be stock files or can u use files off say nother softmodded box, cause i think aslong as  c and e go back on, it should b ok. and maybe thats where adam went wrong.

i used the reinstall C and  E drive option. how do i fix the error 21

did u put anything in c and e because they are empty folders and you put stock files in, im trying to find out if you can get away with putting c and e files off another softmodded xbox, i am trying to get slayers for stock files but its taking to long.

have you tried kiading the exploit angain and removing/redoing softmod or gey slayers and coldboot it if it loads up instakk new c partition

yes in the c folder i put the c drive folders from slayers and in the e folder i didnt put anything

but i cant booy any cd's anymore it just comes up with your xbox requires service and error code 21

i dont know where ur going wrong but were probably doing same thing wrong, i make isoimage out of rescue disk folder onto cdr and does xbox logo does little jump like its going to boot up then blank screen
same with slayers auto, dont know if its cdr or writer or burning software, ive used cbox tool dvd decrypter nero, qwix all the same result, im not sure if u make isoimage out of rescue disk folder or wots inside.
going to try stomp next. if sumone could help please feel free to let me know it will probably answer mine and adams question.

Put whatever you need in your C, E, and Dashboard folders. Make the ISO image using QwiX, the folder you ISO is "rescue disc". Then once the image is complete, burn it using Alcohol 120%. I've never had a bad burn using QwiX+Alcohol 120%. If you still can't boot the disc then try another media.

mine booted the first time i tried the rescure disk and thats the time that i used it and the after i used it i got this error code and ever since then i cant load copied or any disks apart from originals because it looks like its gonna boot and then it just goes 2 the ur xbox requires service screen does anyone no how can atleast re install the ms dashbaord so i can re softmod it

wen u say diff media i used cdr datawrite and datasafe, any recommendations on the cdr rather than me making coasters all day long. thx

cereal, is there any settings for alcohol cause read and read on nero, sum say joilet then theres the setting for mode x2 and so on.thx

dear cereal, used qwix and alcohol 120 still no joy, so tried using disk on nother xbox softmodded with krayzies ndure and nothing happens just goes to dashboard and says no disc, so i think either burning prob or media prob and mite b same prob for adam_t91 that is aint reading disk proper so it aint booting into program so far ive used datawrite, datasafe and mr data cdr with alcohol it was dao/sao, dont close last session of disc unticked, bypass emf error unticked and datatype is customised and im writing at 8speed any help on which media or wot settings im doing wrong would b great. thx
