Usb Stick Recommandation
« on: May 05, 2006, 09:34:00 AM »

I want to softmod my 1.6 xbox, but I'm still looking for a working USB stick ...

Is the Kingston Data Traveler 256MB compatible?
I know there's a compatibility list out there but it isnt always accurate.

So if someone has succesfully used a memory stick in combination with the xbox, I would be grateful if you post brand and size here..

There is a compatability list in my sig. If your not sure, try it! I wrote a thorough tutorial in my sig to restore your usb drive after using it with xbox. What could go wrong if it doesnt work? Theres a few usb related links in my sig.

I've tried a couple of no-brand mp3 players and they all worked fine. If you've got one lying about then follow the good Captain's advice and use the trial-and-error approach.

BTW- Non of them are on the compatibility list
