Anyone know which two points on the pot meter you are supposed to put the multi meter pins to for a Philips drive?  I thought you put one in the middle of the pot and one on top of the pot where there it is soldered to the circuit board, but I have heard some take out the circuit board in order to measure the point below the pot meter (the other soldered leg).  Can anyone verify this for me?
