Action Replay Wont Detect My Usb Flash Drive
« on: March 20, 2006, 07:12:00 PM »

First thing:  Did you select the correct driver for your USB?

(Go to Start, Contol Panel, and click "switch to classic view" on the left hand side and the top. Double click on System, click the hardware tab, and click Device Manager. Expand the Universal Serial Bus Controllers row, right click on USB Mass Storage Device and click Update Driver. Now, on the Hardware Update Driver window, select "Install from a list or specific location (Advanced)", and click next. Select "Don't Search. I will choose the driver the install". Click next. Select "ActionReplay XBOX" and click next.)

If not, that could be the problem.

If so, try this...  I had a similar problem last month.  AR wouldn't let me copy a save to mine.  It would quit when I tried.

This is how I got it to work...hope it helps...Rhino

I went back to the xbox and copied an existing game save to the stick. (obviously not an SC, MA, or 007)
It was NFL Fever. (I tried it again with a Killswitch save to make sure it would work with any game save.)

When I went into the Action Replay software, it recognized the existing game save on the stick, and this time it would let me copy over the exploit save.
Whooopeee!

This info might solve a lot of “compatibility” issues with other brands of USB memory sticks.
