Softmod To New Drive Using Xboxhdm...
« on: January 04, 2006, 09:41:00 PM »

Something new: My brother just randomly turned on the Xbox a few minutes ago and it turned on and booted to the MS dash, as if nothing had every happened. None of our data (saved games, music, etc.) was there and we are unable to use Live... I'm going to try the SC trick again and see if I can just softmod this drive like any other normal drive.

Ok, I just tried to softmod with the SC trick again and it completed, supposedly succesfully installed, but when I reboot, it still goes straight to the MS dash. ???

Same thing happens when I use Slayer's mod. Does anyone out there have any ideas what's going on?

Is there some reason why no one will answer my thread?

I would revert to stock, get an up to date package and clear the cache

I told you to clear the cache allready yesterday. It's amazing how a little bit of reading and searching would have helped you in such a case. Too bad it wasn't meant for you.
