Hi, I modded my XBox using a gamesave mod for Mech Assault.  Can someone explain to me how I can unmod the XBox?  I want to use it to connect to XBox Live.

you need to go into the menu where you install your softmod ude isntall and use the ude uninstall option.

If your installer doesn't have a uninstall option, get slayers 2.6 and ftp in. Replace the contents of the C drive with the contents of SYSTEM\ALL\C from Slayers (I'm guessing the path, as I don't have a Slayers disc on me at the moment, but look for SYSTEM directory and it won't be far away)

Alright.. I installed a few other thinsg as well (emulators, XBMC, etc.).  How do I get rid of those?  Just delete the folders, or what?

I was directed here by Ndureprotagonist because I have a similar issue.  I had problems with the ldots 1.7.5 installer, because it did not partition any space to the F:\ directory.  And then for some reason it created an I:\.
Long story short, I was hoping to uninstall the UDE1 and restore C:, but I know files will be leftover.  I know the readme in the Ndure installer says it may not install properly on a pre-modded box.  And this obviously fits that description.  Any ideas?  Will the slayers disc you mentioned above reformat or re-write the folders in the C: directory for an NTSC box with proper Kernel and Dash?

Btw cixelsd; I:\ would be a memory unit (your AR?) and it doesn't partition F (you'd have to format it)...

 I to softmodded my xbox so I could upgrade it with a bigger hd then put in a switch for each hd so I could go on xbl.  I used the splinter cell exploit everything installed and I boots up in evox.  For some reason I cant ftp into it to save my life. I folowed all the tutorials and read all kinds of other peoples problems but with no success.  So I would rather remove it and play online.  My problem is I dont understand how to remove it.  I did make a back up of everything.  Could someone post step by step on how to do this.  Again I have read on how to do this but I dont want to mess anything up.  Thanks in advance.

· Download & burn Slayer's 2.6 to disc.
· Insert in xbox & load
· Select option 3b2 (RESTORE RETAIL XBOX HD TO FACTORY)  See Picture
· Once done, reboot your xbox
· Go into your memory settings & delete the 2 leftover gamesaves (See picture)

Congratulations, your xbox is now unmodded and EVERYTHING has been deleted except for the stock M$ dash files.

I tried to do this with my xbox, i want to unmod it. I put it in but it wouldnt boot, so i tried to extract the iso. so i did, and it worked with qwix. then i looked around the directories seems taht if i FTP in and replace the files on my C: xbox with SYSTEM/ALL/C then i still have evoxdash.xbe and some other fiels and folders in the xbox, do i have to delete that or keep it there. thx
