Well i don't know if its an issue but I went into the backup part before installing and it created the evox.ini file.  Then when I tried to install I kept getting an error (don't remember which one) because it couldn't replace the file and would then drop out.  So after deleteing evox.ini all was good

Okay, FTP access is now available!  SO, the question is -

I have no access to a non-MS dashboard, nor can I play any homebrew games or software.

SO, with FTP only, is there a way I can go in and restore the drive to make it ready for a Krayzie install?  Can I just try to "erase" the E drive through FTP or is there a better solution?  Please help smile.gif

I have no evox.ini file to delete, but there have been some files installed on the E drive.  Would a list of those be helpful?

THANK YOU!

just delete everything besides Udata and tdata. also make sure there is enough space left (aprox 600 mb)
and make sure your C drive is in a stock state.

I am still getting the same error after removing all files except the udata and tdata folders.  My c drive is in stock state (no evox files).  Another issue I noticed while ftp'd in was that there is no directory on either the I drive or the F drive therefore it will not recognize those drives.  Is that problem tied to my softmod issue?  Thanks for you help.

go into the gamesave exploit folder and rename config.xml to config2e.xml and rename config1.xml to config.xml

Found more config files in the udata folder.  Changed them and it took me to the beginning of the install.  Great, but now i get a failed error message right after I select install softmod.

dude forget it. I think some things are really messed up in your hd or your ways of achieving things. best way is to completely revert to stock and start with a fresh save. You coud use the system restore option for that.
