I read once before about some way you could free up some extra space on a factory hard drive using Krayzies?  I've searched, and now I cant find it...anyone remember this trick?

so u just run the command:

format f:

Item "4b2-6) Format only F: Partition",@265

from the slayers disk?

right now there is nothing showing on the F: drive at all?

also I read it only works on certain hard drives?  how can you tell, and what would be the result of doing it to a drive that isnt compatible?

CODE

    Section "Root"
    {
    Item "MS Dashboard",ID_MS_Dash
    Item "Reboot",ID_Quick_Reboot
    Item "Power Off",ID_Power_Off
    Item "Format F:",@210
    }
    [Action_10]
    Info "Format F"
    Warning "This will format F"
    Progress "Formatting F"
    #
    # This will format F:\
    #
    Format f:

Which worked on my Xbox to get the extra 2 gb.  But when I tried this on a few of my friends stock drives I get....

"Error in Action number
Action:10

Continue Yes/No"

I click yes, then it flashes "Done" real quick.  But when I reboot, F: still says 0.  So does this just mean they have an 8gb drive and not a 10gb drive (so can't be formatted)?  Or did I do something wrong?  I did not get this error message on my box.
