I have an xbox with an old matrix in it (non-flashable one) and a 160G HD. I've been using this for years and along the line I guess through upgrading this and that it started getting error 13 or 16. I usually get it booted up by just turning it on and off several times (I also followed a tut on how to fix the problem at one time and it did fix it for a little while but the problem keeps coming back) Anyway, long story short I got a new xbox and thought I'd try softmodding this time and I gotta tell you it's the easiest mod I've ever done. The box is working perfectly. Now, my question is can I run the softmod installer (I used the splinter Cell method) on the hard modded xbox? I have a switch that can turn the chip off. Will it delete all my games on the HD? Any reply or point to the right direction would be much appreciated.
