Splinter Cell Img Files?
« on: July 20, 2005, 01:39:00 PM »

Well after hunting for a while I finally got ozx memory explorer and was able to write to my 128mb jumpdrive no problem. Without having to mess with drivers etc. EXTREMELY easy to use. But the only img file I can find is for mechassault? On sourceforge. Can someone make an img of the ntsc splinter cell files? Or is there a way I can create a fatx img file?

Thanks

I tried xiso to make an image, which worked, but when I transfer it via ozxexplorer, and boot in the xbox, it won't recognize the memory stick and erases it?

this is because [well i think anyway] that xiso isnt really using the fatx format thats needed for xbox saves...so therefore it wouldnt work. your best bet [and the same thing i'n trying to do] is to learn linux and somehow create one from there.  someone else told me that mac os x always lets you use fatx...so maybe you can do it that way as well

I did try it on a mac, which works, except that I still can't find a splinter cell img file? Even if I use linux I still need this file? Why wasn't there one released? I'm using a Lexar 128mb Jumpdrive. Guess I'm going to have to track down mech assault :(

zewly, you said you used the dd method. Is there anyway you can get 8M.fatx off of xebian live?
