Need Help Turning Off Softmod
« on: July 20, 2005, 07:54:00 AM »

I succesfully installed the softmod over, but now when I try to turn it off (I want a live update) it says:

[Failure]
Batch process failed.
The last item was: .
Action: rename

I'm sure someone else has had this problem, but I just couldn't find it. What do I do?

Thank you so much.

By the way, the last time I saw this message was the last time when I tried removing the softmod. It got to the very end and gave me this error I think. That's when my dashboard was gone for 2 days, but came back.

If I really need to, could I just replace my C and E (backing up of course) with slayers C and E? I extracted the iso.

Bump, I looked at the other threads and it looks like I just have to replace my C and E or do a restore. Isn't there anything else I can do?

Ok, I succefully replaced C and I load the MS dash at startup. I didn't do anything with E though except put a "_" before the modded folders like "shadowc" to "_shadowc". If I am supposed to delete anything from the E drive in order not to be banned from live, what do I delete? I just want to be able to play on live. Should I just delete everything except for UDATA and TDATA?
