i need to figure out the roots password for ftp access, i know for telnet the user and pass is root:xbox but its not for ftp, and ftping in anonymously gives me no permissions, so can u help me please?

the user name and pass word are still both xbox. Try reading the networking tut in my sig for troubleshooting. You probably don't have the networking settings right.

didnt work, i just tried it and still no go.

cuz for telnet raincoats user is root, and pass is xbox but its not the same for ftp, and xbox:xbox didnt work

If it is installing UnleashX, then it's Pass: xbox User: xbox Port: 21 (Username and password all are lower case!)
