I have searched on this forum about these errors. Ya, I'm a new member but I've been reading about stuff on here for awhile. Anyways, I am using the Splinter Cell exploit with AR and Softmod Installer 2.0.

I got the exploit to work at first, it brought up the linux screen. I made a backup copy of MS. Then I went to install the softmod and it won't install because of some failed audio thingy. So i turned off my xbox.

Then I turned it on and up came error 13. I turned off my xbox and started it up with Splinter Cell in hopes to get back to Linux. Then error 21 came up.

I just need to know how to get to either my backup of MS or how to get back to Linux so that I can try to install the softmod (and then unleash-x) again. Thanks.

Have you tried coldbooting? Try putting the disc in....turning it off, and then turning it back on. If the game loads then just run linux and fix it. If not you will need to use XBOXHDM...so do a search on that.

I REALLY hope you made a backup copy of your C:\ and E:\

I have tried cold booting. Splinter Cell still loads and then I try to load the Linux profile and it says error 21.

Thanks for the warm greeting generiq1 SORRY I failed to read what the audio file name was in the .001 sec that it was on my screen. Also by the way, if you're going to quote me, such as 'New Memeber' make sure you know how to spell first because I wrote 'new member'. Yes, even though I am 'new' I can spell. Imagine that.

I think Master_Solo and I gave you about as much help as you are going to get if you arent going to help yourself [by using the SEARCH BUTTON, or the VERY INFORMATIVE tutorials on X-S].

now go get yourself a copy of XBOXHDM and BE MORE CAREFUL next time!

Get someone else copy of the gamesave and install again the exploit.

Error 13 means that you have a problem with the dashboard. And error 21 means that XBOX had to reboot to show this code.
Just reinstall and thats it. If it doesnt work, try using a different memory card.

(When I had this error i could see an strange image of SC, that was fixed when i got another gamesave and memory card)

I did it and worked.

I know what I did wrong and I know how to do it right now. I used Splinter cell as I said, but I forgot to put both save files on my hd. I would go back and save the one that I am missing, but I can't get to any dash to save it. Should I really consider hotswapping my hd? or would a cheap solderless chip fix my problems? btw I don't have any torx and I don't know how to solder.

I do have the needed file on my memory card, but I have found no way to take advantage of that. btw yes, believe or not I have succesfully softmodded a xbox before this. This time I just screwed up and forgot to copy both files to my hd before starting. soooo if anyone knows anything that doesn't include opening my computer, I'd be grateful, yet if thats the only way I'll follow that tut.

ok here whats up i moded and un moded my box with splinter cell it was all good then i dont no what i did but it said xbox live wants to update my system when the mod was uninstalled, but i could still go on live so that was alright i wanted to fix it so i muked around. and now when i try to uninstall the mod with splinter cell i cant cuz it wont run linux i dont no what to do plz enyone help me or tell me what u no im also geting error and cant copy games on my box plz help me !!!!!! PLZ I BEG
