Okay, for all the newer people here that want to get onto live with a softmodded xbox. It seems a lot of people say it isn't possible to get onto live w/ a softmodded box. It is, just load up your MA disc, select run linux,>Turn off softmod  ANd you turn it on the same way. After you turn it off, you go to the xbox dash, Settings>Network Setitings>IP>automatic<DNS>automatic.  Go back to the  main dash.  turn off your xbox, then it normal again! You can use this for DLC or for live updates...

Hey pal, I installed the sc xploit, and worked...
my question is, do I have to use the install coldboot option ? or just the turn off option ?

Edit: Another question, never went to live with my xbox, I'm gonna go live with the softmod off, do you think I'm going to have a problem, i read that live will update my dash if so, where can i get the dash update ?.. still confused .. thanx for your help!

ok here whats up i moded and un moded my box with splinter cell it was all good then i dont no what i did but it said xbox live wants to update my system when the mod was uninstalled, but i could still go on live so that was alright i wanted to fix it so i muked around. and now when i try to uninstall the mod with splinter cell i cant cuz it wont run linux i dont no what to do plz help me plzz im despret eny thing

OKAY, I DIDNT FEAD YOUR message but if it involves deletin  DxOxNxT it will lock up your harddrive. and plus u cant be pick up online with a dash were u have to put in splinter cell to get up ur modded dash k. send me a friends request my gamer tag is SiN IS SicK

ok guy i figured out what i did i deleted linux  but how do i get linux back if when i try to run linux through splinter cell splinter cell does not reconize it? i have linux on my memory card

ps my box is stuck in mod mode and wont burn games.....and i formated all the drives does that do enything bad?

just put linux back on the xbox through ft. and btw, and xbox does not burn games....

ok i got it to burn games agian thanks but i forgott bow to un insall the mod
do i create a msn back up?
and a mod back up?
then restore ms back up ? dang im confusied what to do plz help thanks
