Ok today i decided to try to boot linux from the splinter cell i own while i had my friend over. When i select the profile my xbox crashes and the screen says your xbox requires service. Right after that i would take the disc out of my xbox and put it in my friends who has the exact same gamesave and it would boot up evo-x WTF. I have the platinum edition of SC but it worked on my friends xbox would getting the original copy fix this?


I have the original mechassault v. 01L or somthing like that and I try to do a linux bootup on that game but as soon as i select a gamesave the exact same thing happens. "your xbox requires service" in like 5 languages while the power light blinks green and red.

Is this problem with my xbox version i have?

It shouldn't be a problem with your xbox version.  Make sure that the hacked gamesave for MA/SC is the only MA/SC gamesave on your xbox.  I would try deleting the entire MA/SC gamesave tab using the M$ dashboard and then recopy a fresh version over from memory card.

Have you tried to use a diffrent memory card and a new gamesave, at least from someone else that it is actually working? I did it and worked fo rme.


I had the SC gamesave in a memory card but if you saw the SC gamesave it looked half blurry. Then I asked a friend for a memory card with a gamesave of SC I loaded a SC (but NO Platinunm Hits)

I was told to do this and worked fine for me, by the way I got the error 21.

im going to have to try another memory card then maybe make my own (currently i have action replay)
