I dont know exactly if XS knows aboit it but some guys i believe from mexico did a software to make that possible. They say it is a bug that has an open port that make possible maybe a type of FTP to the drives.

i heard this a LONG time back. they said the software runs on your computer and tricks the xbox into thinking your computer is the xbox live software. im 97% sure its bogus since they claim its selling for 50$ or something like that. They would run into legal issues with MS for selling hacked bios' and if such a thing were to exist, they're stupid for charging money for it at all when you can do it for free. its probably a scam or something

well, there are about to sell it to me for $21, so maybe it would be good to check how it works and maybe will be really helpful someday

I got the software that install softmod from PC, it is called
Easy Phoenix Install Release 3.0. Just to ask, does someone has any idea of what this is?

Yes EPI exist for ages. It just an exploited gamesave and a pc app that installs evrything over via ftp.

the software that is being refered to is supposedly "able to recieve LIVE login requests, and transfer hacked data to the xbox" , this would allow for hacked self extracting xbe's (such as dashupdate.xbe) could contain C & E replacement hacks.

The software is supposedly written by a guy in mexico, and retails for around $500 USD.

As far as any of this being true, its possible but highly unlikely.

Well, it realy sounds to good to be true. And If it was true, it would probably be ilegal so xbins wouldn't host it.

I dunno about that live server crap which I don't believe. I only know EPI and it still needs an exploitable game + save.
Also about the live servers are just asumptions if I understood it right. The mexican guys just advertize that you just need a xp pc. I don't recall they actually mentioned they used an xbox live simulator.

The tihing i know is that it is completely homebrew because it camed to me with source code. So maybe if someone likes i can host it in a web and link it here.
PS: i believe its more stable and functional because they told me its a modified version.

What exactly do you wanna host? That EPI crap? Please spare us the offer. There are lots of decent installers around allready and anything that uses phoenix is outdated.

It could use a Live simulator, It comes as part of the XDK, but then it would only be distributed by warez groups...

Maybe it woiuld be nice to first see some proof that such a thing is existing. I still only here people talk about assumptions.
