Well my dad is a very strict man and he will be really mad if I tell him the truth,I'll probably never get a 360 or any other game or anything,I'll be grounded and he'll say tough luck,you messed it up and that's your fault,I just won't buy you anything else. And honestly I am good with soldering,modding stuff,taking stuff apart,most stuff on a computer,and a lot of other things,but this HDM I am clueless to,I mean honestly is it that easy that a noob like me can use it?btw I am 14 but am very knowledgable at computers.

the only other way you can fix it is if you take apart a computer so you can access your xbox's HDD. if i were you i'd take a risk and take apart your dad's computer and hotswap your xbox. if not then find someone with a computer that'll let you do it. as for xboxhdm, just READ about it. you don't have to know anything about it just follow the tutorial

Damn I am sooo screwed,I won't be able to open my XBOX or my dad's computer. How come these hacking genius can't come up with another way? noooo!!!

Is there a way I can FTP into it? I will be willing to use my dad's PC to FTP into it. I just really need my XBOX fixed. If there is a way I can FTP into it all I have to do is put the XPOLIT in the harddrive and then boot up evoX....right?

See if your xbox can boot up a backup dvd of a game

I odnt have aby blank DVD's...but if it helps I can't boot up SLayers.

That is good. Ok when slayers boots if you have your computer connected you should be able to ftp in. Just make sure u have the proper settings for your xbox and computer.You can cahange the xbox network settings with 8)System Settings from the slayer menu v2.6. And from here since you have ftp access you can just move the retail files over to the C and E folders on your xbox. And of course you get these C and E folders from the slayers disk. Hope that helps

Edit: P.S. when you get ready to mod it again erase all your other gamesave exploits and then put the fresh krayzie gamesave exploit of your choice on their and you should be ready to go

if you read it says I <<<can't>>> boot up Slayers,it only boots the original games,but it goes on live and also I can play all of my savefiles on the games,there is no dash though.

xboxhdm is the only way

its not confusing. like i said, FOLLOW the tutorial. no knowledge is required. you only have to know how to read and press a few keys on a keyboard. it takes 5 minutes to rebuild the C drive.

I HAD the softmod on there will evoX....yesterday. When I rebooted it gave me an error 21 saying service required,I can't go to the original dash or the modded dash,the gamesave isnt on my xbox for some reason so I try to load it from my memory card and it doesn't work and brings me back to the error 21,I can play games on it by booting them up and I can play on Live and I can load all my saves when I play a game....I just want the original dash back or some other alternative,I can't open my computer either.

Ok my dad just left for a few hours,I can open my XBOX but I dont have a special thing to open the screws just a philips. I also don't know where to plug in the ribbon cables and I read the tut over 3 times and it is confusing,I won't know what to press. Also if I do XBOX HDM will I have the dash back on? All together how long will it take?What if there are no open ribbon cables in my dad's PC? I might be willing to open my XBOX...Ok this is very confusing because I don't have the right tools to open my xbox and I don't want to strip the screws. I don't want to hotswap because there is a big chance of my harddrive or motherboard getting messed up,also I don't know how to get my eeprom or any of this....Can I send one of you my harddrive and pay you to fix it?
