Here's what you should do. If I understand this correctly, borrow your friends Splinter Cell game, install krayzie's SC installer, return the game, then instal krayzie's SCEEE installer and you won't even need the disk to switch gack and forth!

If you're never going to go on Live then don't worry about SCEEE, but who knows if you'll ever want to be able to switch back and forth quickly and easily.

Just don't mess with any of the softmod's files unless you know what you're doing and you should be fine. If it does crash, yes, you'll need the game to fix it.

What he said...and you can't just backup the game and run it to turn the softmod on/off. If you turn the softmod off that means no more access to the ripped game. You either need to do what he said and get Krayzie_EEE_Installer.rar or buy a pemanent copy of one of the supported games. I haven't had luck finding the installer....not in any of the "usual places". If you do find it be sure to let me know where. smile.gif

I found it, but it was by no means easy. There's clues in someone's signature on where to find it. Should be fairly obvious who's sig. you need to investigate though.

This has got to be the hardest thing to find in the world!  I really want the SCEEE switch, but I can't find any switches anywhere.  Please help me!

Why is it not found in the usual places anymore? and does the uxe installer come with the eee installer or does it have to be downloaded separately?

Yes, we have all tried the bins, but it is not there and never will be.  Krayzie himself said that he used XDK to make the switcher, and therefore can't be hosted at the usual places.  I really want this installer, I wish it wasn't so hard to find.
