Why? If your softmod works, why reinstall it? It's stupid and pointless.

Is possible, yes:
- turn on your Xbox with the eject button
- from the SID installation menu, select the option to restore the original C
- copy the gamesave from other installer and execute it
most newer installers need an original C drive to create a virtual C drive.

Should you?, no, only if there is a feature you need, compatibility issues or changes in new games that make them potentialy harmfull to your softmod.

Thanks for the great help xato.

Your explanations were extremely helpful, as I was able to remove SID and get krayzie's installer on my xbox.

I understand that I can turn of the softmod, and use xbox live with this softmod.

Is it as simple as clicking MSDASH??

IF not, can you please explain how I would do so.

Sorry for the newbie question, but any help would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks

After Krayzie softmod your box it changes the config.xml file in the udata folder, so when you run the game again and load the gamesave it will show you a menu with the option to turn off/on the softmod and other to remove the softmod entirely.

Xato,

Once again, I am extremely thankful for your help.  My deepest thanks for your quick response.

Great instructions, I was able to switch it on and off without a hitch.

I'm off to try a free xbox live account, and I couldn't be happier.

Thanks again.
