Well if i remember correctly the Xbox dvd-rom does'nt read dvd+r or very few of them. You need dvd-r for your back ups.

Let me hijack this thread temporarily. I'm looking at a brand new 1.6 xbox, an action replay and ltools_v1.7.5_sc_ntsc. Anything I need to know before I dive in?
Had I known the warranty is only 90 days, I would have just bought an older box.

I got softmod deluxe. Seems both files won't fit for splinter cell with the 8mb AR card.

easiest way to do it is use ltools splinter cell exploit to get ftp acces to ur xbox hard disk. backup ur cd drive and copy of the uxe-complete to it thats what i had to do as my xbox kinda got recked during ltools.
