The autoinstaller probably backed it up at some point, but I'm not positive..  Since the hdd is unlocked you can load it in xboxhdm and hunt for it..  If its not there you will need to atleast borrow a chip or manually read your eeprom..

get slayers evox-auto install disk, extract the ISO, go into SYSTEM/ALL/C and copy the M$ dash files into the C folder in XboxHDM's directory. Make the XboxHDM ISO, brun it, run it, use the restore C option (see it's readme) and it will copy all the files in the C folder to the C drive. This will take your M$ dash stock, and then you can use and installer to BACK UP YOUR EEPROM (please, don't screw up again or someone will flame the shit out of you)!! Now, locking another issue if HDM can't lock with an eeprom key.

After you install slayers click backup and hook up to pc. Grab folder called backup its in your c drive on xbox in that folder will be your eeprom. Since you got slayers an eeprom and xboxhdm handy why not upgrade the drive. Youll graab your eeprom put in the eeprom folder of xboxhdm . Reburn xboxhdm disc with eeprom and slayers. Build your new hard drive after it finishes reboot choose option 3 boot to linux with lock unlock tools type unlockhd after the next prompt type unlockhd -a . Youll be all set

Exactly..  Then you can take the modchip out if you want..  If you have electronics knowhow, there was also a schematic for al lpc eeprom reader that would cost roughly $5 to build..  That would avoid a need for a modchip if you could read your eeprom.bin off the chip like that..
