hi blackwar just want to say your installer is really good and even better when these miner problems are sorted .theres no pressure from me at the end of the day your doing this for the fun of it .

could it be that i can not change the resolution settings in avalaunch due to the hidden c and eeprom.

Cuz when I do try to change them ava tells me "could not write back to eeprom".

Any help would be appreciated.

Blackwar installer will run on the 1.6 xboxes. B versions and whatnot! So check it out.

Blackwar:
Quick question, the font you used with nkpatcher is bert_ate ernie-generic.xtf in the root of C:
does that font support editing the colour of the LED on the front of the xbox. I haven't been able to find it in there..
the only tutorials I can find are for editing bert.asm and ernie.asm and compiling them but the nkpatcher in your installer is wanting to load bert_ate ernie-generic.xtf So I'm wondering if I get a copy of nkpatcher.asm would I be able to edit that to point to bert.xtf and ernie.xtf and place those in the root of the C: and would that work?
Or would I have to do it the other way around, and edit bert_ate ernie-generic.asm to change the LED and then compile that and replace the font on the C:?
I don't know if you've already put the LED change into your new release.. but either way I'd like to be able to do it myself.. mostly b/c I have already put a bunch of junk onto my box and don't want to re-install all my apps and teh installer.

), I will re-work on how the installers work, going back to the 007 installer. I know that the 007 installer does work fine as it is, but I would like to keep all 3 the same, as in how they work, what gets put where, ect.

again, if anybody has, ANY issues with the installers, please PM me or leave a post here about it.

I dunno about that program, but I just use boxplorer to copy games.. when you open boxplorer hit "start" and select "pick drive letter" and select your DVD drive (should say 6.01GB) beside it.. then hit "start" again and select "mark all"
Then hit the R trigger and it will open the screen where you are going to copy your game to.. Select the partition you want to save to and make a new folder for you game (I think if you hit the white or black button you get a menu for making new folders etc) so make sure you are IN the folder where you will copy to, and then hit L trigger to go back, and make sure all files are highlighted in the DVD and hit "start" and select copy all and it will ask you to confirm.. I beleive this method tells you how big the game is that you are copying.
You can get boxplorer from usual places.

Quick question:

Does it matter what dashboard version I have before using BlackWar's installer? I've got 5659 right now, but could probably upgrade to 5960 if this installer requires it.

Its not a bad idea to have the most current dash if you ever want to use Live..
