ok, I skimmed over the past few pages and seen some of the issues that some of you are having, and I do greatly appologise for this, and here is some of the things that I can think of to help you out as best as I can untill an updated is released resolving these issues.
Missing C: partitionWhen in FTP, and a partition is missing (I.E. no C: folder), this means that somethere along the line the formatting of the shadowC did not complete properly. the best way to fix this is to run the restore process and then run the
re-install process. this way, what ever you have installed will still be there. BE SURE YOU RUN THE RE-INSTALL process!!! if you just run install, expecially on a large HD, your WILL LOOSE YOUR INSTALLED GAMES AND APPS!.
Black Screen apon bootupThis is an odd problem, and I have never incountered it before, nor do I think anyone else that I can think of. If it starts up fine (flubber logo), and then just goes black and hangs, I am assuming it is the fonts that are to blame. the best option to try is to run the "install optional fonts", if this does not work, or make it worse, just run the game expoit, and then run the uninstall, and then run the
re-install option, this will replace the old fonts back in. If the black screen is still an issue then I will need to tweak the fonts that are installed by default. be sure to PM me if this is still an issue so I can make the proper repairs.
Empty C: partitionThis has to do what I beleave is a "glitch" on how the exploit handles the swap file partitions after it reloads. I have watched this closely, and at random times it now has happend to me also. From what I can tell of, everything does work as it should, but after it reloads, it "mis-reads" the swap partitions, thinking that they are empty (I noticed this while watch the FTP while the installer was working), and right before the reboot, the "stockc" folder was there in X:, but right after reboot, the folder was gone, but, when everything is said and done (the xbox booted normally with the exploit running), the stockc folder would re-appear in X:

as an easy fix as someone else stated, would be to script it so it is held in E: temporarly, and then have it scripted so it is deleted after everything else is done. This would mean that you need to insure that you have at least 180MB free in E:, but that is the only workaround I can think of in order to get it to install properly.
Where are the updates?!?I understand that there are now issues with the MA installer, and that you all have been very pacient with this/me, and I greaty apperciate it, but it will be a short while before an update or SC will be released, the kids are home from school (teachers convention) until wednesday, so the earliest I will be able to take the xbox back (lol, the kids have been whining for there "fix" so I had to give it up and put my work on the xbox on hold until they go back to school) and get a fixed release of MA out is wednesday night at the earliest, and it should be out by then too, but if the problem is extensive, it
may take longer, but with the help of jcupp114 and others, I feel that it will be out on wednesday. In the meantime, I recommend that if the MA is working for you as-is, then leave it, if it causing major problems for you (unable to load/play games/apps/ect), then I recommend that you switch to another installer until this issue is fixed. I greatly appoligise for this inconvience, but this is the best advice I can offer at this point in time.
again, I greatly appologise for this issue, and for my bad grammer/spelling in this post, I just got off of work not to long ago, and it is now almost 3 a.m. for me, so I will be hitting the sack soon. I will pop back in again later on to see if any more issues arrise.
