if i wanted to restore my xbox to original factory after i used the installer but didn't copy the backup off of z because i didn't realize when i was instaling that the backup would be deleted from z is there any to restore?? if so, what tool do i need?

What is the boot order and searched paths of the nkpatcher?

It appears to load:

1)
D:\default.xbe
...
...
m)
E:\CurrentDash\Default.xbe
n)
...

Is there anything between "1)" and "m)"? Is there and "n)" and some paths after that?

(It would be nice to have a backup dash on the hd in case the CurrentDash folder is deleted or something)

Is there a way to do a hotswap and copy over the Blackwar Softmod to a virgin xbox?
It should be possible but I am just not sure exactly how to do it as I cannot look at the content of the real C: drive on my other softmodded due to the shadow C: thing.

Shouldn't it just be a matter of copying over some files from C: and some files from E:?
So... What files would that be? An can I find them inside the savegame archive?

I really hope someone can help.

im still having problems if anyone can shed light for me - im trying to install blackwars onto a stock machine but i get an error message with bothe the stock and large HD install options saying:

Batch Proccessing failed.
last action: hard drive not stock aborting.....
Action: renaming

any help anyone could give would be great. thanks all.

PS - im using the pal SC expliot.

I'm not familiar with Blackwar's but it sounds like some files on the hd are missing/incorrect. Does the dash needs to be upgraded to a higher version maybe. You are always welcome to try my installer and see if that works.
