I downloaded the new Softmod Installer Deluxe v1.0 today from the usual place to try it out, now, i allready have a TSOP flashed xbox i wanted to test this on, i formatted an old 8gig to retail and coppied the save to it, ran 007AUF, tried to load the save and the game just freezes. Im not too bothered about it doing this as i was only testing it out, i just want to know if anyone has got it working yet?

Ah, so its not just me, maybe its because my xbox allready has a tsop flash (x2 4981) and maybe this exploit needs the original xbox bios to run?, anyone else havng the same trouble?

have you tried waffletools? i use that myself and it has worked on every xbox i have tried it on

I usually use iTools, i only wanted to test this new installer out, but it doesnt work, and want to know if it works for anyone else.

No, you misunderstand, im just trying the package out on an allready TSOP'ed xbox, i formatted the HDD back to stock and tried the exploit, but it diddnt work, i want to know if it is because im not using a retail bios?, i dont need to install apss/dashboards etc, im just trying different exploit packages.

And looking at earlier threads, im not the only person having trouble with it.

I just tried v1.1 the other day on a 1.6 Xbox using the AUF savegame. Works like a charm, although I wonder what would happen if I popped in a game that tries to update the dashboard.
