Will this work for me too??? i am searching for the easiest methode to softmod without a memory card or usb stick.
1. Download the  xboxhdmv.1.9?
2. Burning it on CD
3. Connecting the xbox HD to the IDE where my cd is(xbox and pc are turned off?)
4. Run my pc with the cd inserted
5. What then??? will a graphical linux distru be loaded or a console??? If console what to do??? and is this version of xboxhdmv.1.9 uxe???
Can i make a backup with xboxhdmv.1.9?

Try the UXE auto installer instead.  Then you only need the ONE file (gamesave) and its installed in no time.

with no memory card you need to do like mario said
hdmxbox 1.9 will build your hdd with UXE installed

if you can borrow a memory card its easier to just use
exploit to move over UXE thro` ftp , u wont have to open
xbox and hotswap.

UXE works on all Xboxes v1.0 - V1.6

try setting your dash language to english. other languages can give problems.
