ltools was just a package that installed everything for you. It doesn't say anything on what selections you made. if you choose nkpatcher there is no lba 48 support on that. Otherwise you might want to upgrade you bios also. Remember this site DOES have a search function you can use. Don't be afraid of it.

oh yea,I used the ltools mechV1.7.5 for my softmod.i dont believe i used the nkpatcher thing i used the ude & pbl stuff & loaded evox,i didnt choosed the m8,or that metoo or whatever its called, cuz my box isnt a 1.6.From what i can gather if a person uses itools mech 1.7.5 installer you have to upgrade you bios to install a hdd over 137GB??correct?

123 gig on f:\ + 8gig for C+E+X+Y+Z =131 gigs.  Not too shabby considering that a 160 gig hard drive isn't really 160 useable gigs. Anyway, be sure you enabled G:\ support in the dash settings.

apparantly your f drive is partitioned to be 123 Mb

so if there is extra space on your HD it will be in G:

have you *formatted* G: yet? (you can do this in evox by adding an extra menuitem -> search for format and evox.ini)

also... if you built the hd with xboxhdm you also have to consider the fact that your pc's bios might not have supported the extra space, in wich case you can probably still format it trough you box though (i'm not sure)

also.. try being a bit less insistent when asking questions... everyone is here on voluntary basis and don't have to answer your questions at all if they don't want to...

you otoh are almost 'demanding' help like in fe:
