Okay first let me say I have tried to soft mod a xbox once before and blew it(still gotta fix that one) so here I am today. I have another xbox, I have the mechassault save file on my memory card. I have it saved to the xbox. I can choose run linux. I can bring up settings and flash bios, heres my question:
I have another modded box with a executor 2.3b lite chip. I bought it from someone else and they included a disk(dvdr) that when I wanted to upgrade the hard drive or recover the (hacked mod) programming ie. evolution x mame ox or other programs I just put it in and the ring flashes all kinds of colors then its on my xbox. So I don't know whaat to call this disk...Is it an auto-installer or what? Anyways I was wondering if I use the mechassault save file on the unmodded box then insert the disk I have does it do all the work and the box will be modded? Or can I use the mechassault save then ftp to pc then transfer the contents of the disk to the unmooded xbox will this install the soft mod?
 I just keep thinking that the save opens the  door and once it is open I canchange whatever I want so it makes sense.

Basically what I am wondering is:
#1 the mechassault exploit gets you in the xbox so you can ftp back and forth ,remove and take from pc to xbox
#2 so once I am in I should be able to take out old and replace  with new
#3 but is what I use on my xecuter chip the same as with no chip?

mechassault exploit will give you ftp then you can install ude or uxe anyother exploit you want but ltools is the easiest.
