Ma Ltools 1.8 Rc1 Unknown File Error

When I try to run linux from MechAssault it gives a cannot open gamesave error.  When i look at the three descriptions about the file it shows 2 unknown items.  Im sure that the game save didnt get corrupted because when i ftped it into my xbox with a xecuter 3, it gave the same error.  this is for my friend's box.. anything to enlighten me?
