to be absolutely save I would just do a clean format and reinstall dash (slayers?)
make sure you first backup your udata/tdata folder as they contain your gamesaves/music. BUT remove the exploited gamesave to be certain.

I am also interested in uninstalling itools... can't find any info on how to do it. If what krazie suggested is best... how would I do that?

uninstall using itools

then load the gamesave, ftp in and delete everything you want deleted and reboot

loading the gamesave would be re-installing.... because evox has the ftp...

or is there a way to get live to work with evox. thx

and I use the evox backup....and i install.....i derno ude2 and xbmc.

Lets say i wanna use live.
Can i just delete all the files on each drive one by one and replace them with the old ones?
would that make it safe?

You are at the right place to do it, but the username and password should be "XBOX" without the quotes ("). THat should be able to get you there. Otherwise, try using windows explorer, some people have trouble using other programs.

hi there. I am in the same boat.

Lets say I have an unmodded xbox, and I load Itools with a exploit. Right then I take a backup of all folders on my xbox. Then I install dash and whatever to play backups.

So all I have to do is login to FTP, restore all origional drives from my backup, and I should be fine?
