or:
- Get an xbox (I'll do that once I get enough info here, probably a new one)
- Get a game that has a save exploit
- Copy the gamesave with the exploit (Ltools) to the xbox hdd with action replay or something
- Run the game, it will run Ltools
- Ltools will automatically do everything you need and put evox in

Use xboxhdm for hard drive
must-have apps are dvd2xbox, xbox media center, and some kind of file explorer, i like boxplorer

i got a question to add. when doing the gamesave exploit, lets say i dont have an action replay or memory card. can i hot swap and stick the exploit in a certain folder once i have ftp access to the hdd?

You're confused Tank..  There is no need to hotswap if you have ftp access..  You can hotswap in order to put a hacked gamesave in e:\udata\xxxxxxxx\..   Then when you initialize the game save you can obtain ftp/telnet access..  Your first step after this should be to obtain your eeprom backup..
The only reliable way to hotswap is with xboxhdm 1.9..  Don't even think about using a windows app to tinker with your hdd!

The hdd gets locked up tight with a big ass unbreakable password that only your xbox's eeprom knows when you power down..  Hotswapping basically accomplishes the same thing as sticking gum in a door's lock so you can get back inside..  After you get it unlocked and connected to your pc you still need a speciall app (xboxhdm 1.9) to access it..

Just be careful with hotswapping the HDD. I have known a lots of people who got it to work but then their are those few where it did not work and their HDD was trashed. You can get a used mem card for $12 and the action replay software is free.

I love the way you summed up the reason to hotswap..  Its cool if you can borrow an alternative though..smile.gif  When you hotswap though, you don't need to relock..  It is relocked on powerdown..
