Simply put, if you don't have a backup of your eeprom.bin then the drive is locked for eternity.. If electronics are your thing, then you can read the eeprom chip that is on the motherboard..  (Waay to complex if you aren't already setup to do it.)

damn...
eeprom.bin i assume is a file on the hdd huh? XD
and the only way to access it is to put the hdd back into the xbox and ftp to it? tongue.gif
and reading it off the mother board......does this require the xbox to be functional XD
or just way to complex to even begin to explain? tongue.gif

Smart ppl run the backup in Evox, then download the backed up files to their pc and several other secure locations just for the hell of it..
As for alternatives, you could swap your eeprom chip onto another mobo of the same version genre (1.0, 1.1-1.5, 1.6)..  Your hdd should then boot in that box and you could unlock it..
The other way is to read it with a serial eeprom reader..  www.lancos.com..  Mine is an Atmel 24c02 serial eeprom.. I assume any other eeprom in an xbox to date is compatible with that..   Electronics teachers may be able to help you, or maybe you could send the chip to someone on this board who can read it and they can email you the eeprom.bin file..

Mobo == Motherboard
There are 254656 posts on this board explaining many ways to unlock a drive with the eeprom.bin..  If you can't find that, then you couldn't find sand on a beach..smile.gif
