I did talk about this in my "whats next" section but thats assuming u know how to network. If u need help on that try g4techtv forums, just treat ur xbox like a computer since thats basicly what it is.

in the ms dashboard in settings tab, there is a system info, let the credits roll until it shows your kernel and dashboards

like this

k:1.00.4981.67
d:1.00.5960.01

yup

Ok i got it changed. No about the site being to vague, how can i fix that. Do i just need to explain everything because i just put what 90% of people that r modding there xbox would need. If they run into problems or want someting else i have these forums and if i think what they say is important i normally add it.

I am working on a buddies box but when I go into system info and let the credits roll, it never says anything about the kernal.  It just keeps saying all of the copyright info and the warning.  Repeats over and over.

Thanks for your help, all I had to do was update the dash and voila.  New question though, I am trying to transfer some Emulators over to the newly modded box but they are not showing up.  I did what you said and made an emulator, games, and apps folder on the E: drive but when I FTP'ed the ISO over to the E; folder, it doesn't show up under games, or anything for that matter.  I tried to put them on the C: drive using the same methods but to no avail.  Am I just missing something.  Oh and by the way the tutorial is awesome!

Since I don't have a memory card, is it possible to FTP the gamesave over from my PC?  I received the mechassault gamesave from someone.

If u can figure out a way to get the ltools gamesave off the computer and onto the xbox go for it, but basicly the only way to do it is with a memory card. I have added many ways to make an AR so read up, im still waiting for ltools to be able to run from a dvd.

Hey bubba I went through the tut step by step but I am still having trouble.  It doesn't say anything about transferring the emulators from a disc onto evox.  I have them in ISO files but I don't know how to get them to play, they show up on the menu.  I can get into the emulator but no roms show up.  I have been racking my brain at this one.
