I want to get a HDD thats bigger then 120gig (mabey 160), but i need to know if my set up has LBA48 support, and will reconiize more then 137gig.

I used the 007 ltools exploit, and this what i chose

UDE1 > PBL-Metoo > X24981 > evox dash

Will that work, or should i choose something else, or is there something i need to do for it to reconize it?

Also i have another questions (sorry)

When i go into setting it says bios unknown, is that normal?

I just did it with that one ^^; Had to use FlashFXP though... for some reason it wasn't doing it in CuteFTP =/

Thats the way i am going to do it.

So its not showing the f drive?

Did you make sure to edit the evox.ini and enable f drive?

almost, everything should work except for the step about burning evox, you cannot run evox from a CD-R without a chip, but you should be able to slap the new HD in and run a gamesave exploit to get to evox, then do the other steps.

Wouldnt i not be able to run the game to get the xploit to work with a non formatted drive in?

I believe it would. You can boot to a game with no HD at all. The xbox checks for bootable files in the DVD first, and if there isn't any bootable files, or there is no disks, it checks the HD.

EDIT: Ltools got error 21 when i tried to get the dash to load.

I somehow do not think it would work.  How do you propose on doing the exploit if you NEED the save on the harddrive to do the exploit?  It will not run off a memory card.

Wow. I feel stupid. I didn't even think about that.  rolleyes.gif I was pretty tired when I replied. But I still think it wouldn't be a problem if 007 can read from the memory card. I don't use 007 to exploit though, so maybe thats just something false I heard.

Honestly, I think as long as your setup has the LBA48 support, which it does, all you need to do is clone your HD, lock it with the correct password, and you're set. Sorry for insomnia-induced stupid idea. Check out xboxhdm you can easily upgrade your HD with that.

Since the is no information on the HD there are no instructions to tell a game to boot since you cant load a game the memory card save wont work.

If you have modchip you bypass the internal bios completely so it will boot up off a cd so then you can load stuff but the exploits all use fonts and audio hacks that are on your harddrive and if you have nothing on the hard drive nothing can activate, sorry sad.gif
