I assume you're using JUST the gamesave exploit... ROE will always happen with the gamesave exploit. If you don't want it to reset, install a dashboard exploit.

Im not using a gamesave exploit, i have already softmodded my xbox. But every time i open my dvd tray it reboots to evox. And why do i have a link to MS Dashboard if it just takes me to evox?

What exploit are you using then?

There is a glich in where you eject the dvd tray and the xbox resets with this hack. It shouldn't be there, the developers have been working hard to get it out of there, but as of right now I know no patches.

Thats what the guy said that wrote the tutorial i used. Is there some files that i can use that will replace the original and fix the problem?

ok first thing, un-soft-mod your xbox. then install the ude, this is safer for your xbox and does not suffer from clock loops. and then you can put a bios loader on that doesn't reset when you eject the disk tray.

When i try and run UDE1 (my xbox is v1.1) and it tells me:

Im a complete noob, so rather than ask u specific questions im just going to say what the best way to fix this?

You need to find the *.xbe yourself. It's because it's not legal to distribute. If you want it, look for it on Slayer's.

Is there an easy way to update a better dash, like the ones recommended (4920.5659, or 5960)? I dont have xbox live so i cant get updates there.

Basicly i just want the easiest way to install UDE1 weither its installing a new dash or adding the update.xbe file it doesn't matter to me.

And i still dont know what Slayer's is?

You can find more about Slayer's Auto-installer by searching in the EvoX forum. It's an EvoX installer disc with the original 4920 dash and other applications and features. Extract it to get the update.xbe and follow the directions in the ude installer as to what you need to do with it.

I tried out some iso extractors and xbox iso extractors and they all had errors when i tried to open the file. I reinstalled the file that i got from bit torrent but it didn't fix anything.

Is there another place i can get the updated dash or .xbe file?
