forthex,

I am stucked!

When I connect USB reader + my SD to XBOX (step 1.1) and it said

"Memory Unit 1A
The memory you inserted isn't functioning# it maybe damaged"

I then plug this into PC and run to AR as step 2.2. It gave me an error

XBOXPowerSave MFC Application
"XBOXPowerSave MFC Application has encountered a problem and needs to close sorrey for the inconvenience"

I am dead!

To solve my problem, I bought an Action Replay and now I can move the Mech savegames to my Xbox.  Very easy, work fine.  Now I see Linux option in my dashboard menu.

But when I select Linux from the menu, the screen become black and my tray light turn to orange. It's normal or not ?

At this point I'm supposed to be able to do a telnet on the xbox but I got no answer.  Wich linux version is the best for XBOX ?

thanks

joseph, follow the "bonus section" at the end of my tut, it will tell you how to get your MP3 player back!

Info, yes you have to telnet into your Xbox, but i would uninstall the this exploit, because this is a font exploit and you can get into a clock-loop. i would recommend getting the ltools UDE installer from xbins.

im still having troubles having AR finding my exploit save.

ive formatted my thumb drive for action replay and mae sure it work by dragging one of the default game saves to my memory card. and that work.

im trying to use the mech ass. game hack.

could you explain how to make my game hack recognised by AR.  i have read this whole forum and im still confused on the process.  you mentioned itools for this process but i could not find a place to download it.

any help will be much appriciated

you can find ltools on xbins:

http://www.xbox-scen...icles/xbins.php

in your FTP client, go to xbox/operating systems/Linux/distributions/ltools

just make sure that the datelinfo.xbx file is in somewhere in every save you try to put on the stick. If you need any more help, just ask.

once you copy the datelinfo files, take both of the saves and make them into .zip files, But zip them as two different files, so, there should a part1.zip and a part2.zip, then transfer them to the memory card.

i made sure that each folder (part 1 and part 2) looks like the pic on the tut.  i put each folder in the AR saves folder along witht the other saves. then i opened up AR and searched for the saves and they arent there.

am i messing something up or what

again i appreciate the help you are giving me

I followed the tutorial, and I cannot put my .zip files into the AR software thing.  I double checked and I have the datlinfo.xbx in the zip.  Also, I am sure I am running the correct version of the AR software

you have to drag the saves from the directory you zipped them to, to the memory card column in the Action Replay software.

I did that, however I get a reply saying that it  is not a valid xbox save.  Also, I noticed that your two files are larger than mine, I have a 6kb and a 723 kb... is that anything to note?
