Success I Think, Where Am I?

Ok, so I have a v1.6 xbox that I was able to use the ltools 1.7.5 MA save game on and I boot to Evox. Very neet trick. I can FTP and Telnet into the xbox now, but I cannot write to the F drive, should I be able to? I chose the M8.16 bios but the normal green X and MS show up during boot, was the bios flashed or not? If it was, can I just use an Evox disk and new HD for a new larger drive, and do I have large drive support? If I jumped on XBL would I be baned?, I'm pretty sure thats a yes. Thanks for all the info.
