A friend of mine has entrusted me in trying to fix his xbox.  He installed the xbox-linux mechinstaller font hacks, tried to put Xebians 1.0.1 on, but upon rebooting it failed to load his dashboard.  Also his gamesaves were deleted so he couldn't use emergency linux for ftp.  I told him I'd take a look at it, so I went over and he had left it unpluged for some time and now is in the clock loop + no dashboard = holy shit.  Can I still hot swap this even though it reboots about a second after the MS logo fades?  Anything else I can do - I've got his xbox, my xbox (UDE with evox mod), a memory card and not that much time!
