Hey BlackWar, thanks for telling me that my SC PH version will work at some point. I don't find it too much hassle personally since I only need to do it once.

seems mechassault is the one that FOR SURE doesnt work with anything else.
i had a game of the year grom gamespot edition, but the sticker was on the plastic wrap saying GOTY, and not on the box, and it was an old green case, not a platnium edition

but the key is the numbers, which are on the inside

ill write a little guide to finding exploitabe cds soon once i get more info
