how are you going to transfer the saves to a memcard anyway if you dont have an adapter? if you have a way to transfer comp>memcard then memcard>xbox then i can show you how to set up action replay to recognise it....

I have a program called ozxmemory... it writes the .img file to the USB stick after I formated it by plugging it into the xbox. It's described in the tutorial of doing the software hack on xbox-linux.org. Don't worry about me having the adapters, part, etc... i have them. I just need a prog to convert the damn thing!

yeah thats what i figured, i have the same thing, you can use this tutorial to use action replay though, instead of having to convert it all.

http://www.xbox-linux.org/docs/howtoar.html
Step number 2 is the important one. Yeah i know you don't have a controller and stuff, just try to follow as best as you can and if you need help IM me on AIM.

is there any way to trick the action replay software on my PC to think that a USB stick is an AR memory card? it would be a lot easier that way ( I downloaded the AR software from the website)

and when i say USB stick, I mean a jump-drive or those things that plug into the a USB port and you can store 1000's of docs and you buy them at like, Stapes or office depot

no no no, get usbview.exe and find the VendorID and ProductID for your memstick. then copy and paste these in the correct places in the action replay driver file under [_Devices_] like it says in the tutorial. And then point the memory stick driver file to the action replay driver...understand?
