Can Not Load Linux

Unable to load Linux, press a to continue
it only works on first release disk PN X08-82264 (on disk itself)

Just because you have the non-platinum release doesn't mean that you have the first release. There are several non-platinum versions.

And as for your loading problem - the MA disc you have is newer and has the softmod hole fixed already.

A good place to check for an old version of MA is your local cockbuster, or Holywood video. One of them tends to have the first release. Another good place would be a gamestore that sells used games, someone traded in that tired old game that didn't know what it was good for, just find it.

no problem, that's where I had to find mine. When you go back ask em if you can buy it for $15. If they have another copy, they'll prolly let you have it. I bought this one just in case I need it again. You never know if the ol cockbuster will hang on to the game or get rid of it and replace it with a new copy and we wouldn't want that would we. lol
