TrueSkimmer,

opwords has sent you this email from http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php.

hello i was looking around the forums and noticed that you had the same K and D numbers as me 5530,5659. I was wondering if you could tell me how you went about installing that software onto your xbox. or if you could tell me where to start looking for the info. if you have any text files on the subject that you could send that would be great my email address is [Censor] wink.gif

In response to your email:

First off, i am in no way responsible for what you do to your x-box, it worked on mine, no guarantees.

So much for the friendly chit chat.

For some basic understanding, you should read this topic: http://forums.xbox-s...howtopic=215055
(Please do, it is important you understand what you'r doing, and why)

Ok, the methods i used are: Action replay in conjunction with the ltools package.

ltools package:
The ltools package is by far the ez'st way to do a softmod. Read about it here: http://forums.xbox-s...howtopic=227528

Get it from what everybody calls 'the usual places', lots of info on the XS forums.

Action replay:
Action replay is a program intended for backing up your X-box savegame. But it can also be used to place a save game exploit on a memorycard (i.e. USB Memory stick, or CF cardreader). I cant remember the topic my information came from, but searching for action replay should give you lots of results.

My mod cost me 30 Euro. (20 for the game 007 AUF and 10 for a cheap ass no-name X-box controller). I cut the connector from the controler and made a USB -> XBox cable from a USB extension cable i had lying around.

Last thing you need: Time, lots of time to read as much information as you can until you are confident you wont f#ck up your box. I took a little under two weeks before i wanted my results.

Patience pays...

If you have any further questions, please post them on the forum. More people will read the answers.

I PM opwords this answer. Hopefully others can use this to
