i just installed on a 1.0 and it won't boot the chip, if i hold the button it just flashes then starts the ms bios, i resoldered the pins twice and tried a wire install, to no avail, i used the alt do on the tut .pdf file, is that the same spot on a 1.0?  the fourth from the left?  i hope you reply soon, as that this customer is getting unimpressed with my abilities.  thank you, oh, and i also tried two different chips on the pinheader install, thanks!  <

What happened when you tried 2 different chips on the same pin header? If they work then you have a faulty chip if they don't then you have done some damage during the install somewhere and will need to double check everything  <

got it figured out, d0 wire must've been too long
