Well you can't play backups online, that'll get you banned right away.  Most exploits do not work with 2.0, but there are some newer ones that do.  I just can't remember which ones. blink.gif

Ok so theres hope lol. Heres a list

http://www.xbox-scen...0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0

Any of those ring a bell? Id be willing to give an exploit a shot that doesnt require a mod chip that works on live 2.0

Thanks so much for your reply  smile.gif

I got your PM and I'll respond here since MSN isn't working properly. Check out the dashboard exploit forum for a thread about the pros/cons of the exploits. Find out which one fits your needs (Live 2.0, Straight Bootup, Key entry, etc). Then read the forum tutorials on doing that particular exploit. Most of the tutorials that are under the tutorial section on X-S.com are pretty outdated and old. The forums seem to be updated with the most recent exploits and the best ways of going about using them. You'll want to backup your eeprom and hdd key (Just in case). Do this by using an EvoX save and hitting the "Backup" option. Then FTP into your Xbox and copy both your C: partition and E: partition to your computer. This will backup your current dashboard and all your saves. If you don't have the Live tab on your dashboard, you have a pre-live dash. No need to downgrade, because you can upgrade with a Live 1.0 game and not connecting the ethernet cord to the internet. I hope this gives you an idea to what you need to know and hopefully assists in your problem. If you have any other questions, feel free to PM me any time.

...and yes, I get PMs A LOT... love.gif

QUOTE (greatwhitellama @ May 31 2004, 05:10 PM)
if you get auto-updated just downgrade.  usually when you play a new game on LIVE it has a mandatory update.  this is anoying, but it's only a 1 time thing.

glad to help you out dude  and good luck beerchug.gif

Oh ok ok smile.gif So when i wanna play on Live for each game I only have to do the mandatory update once per game? So afterwards I would be able play on live without them bugging me to update?

And downgrading, fir this one how would I do it? Is there an option in the bios/dash menu?

Thank you so very much dude  cool.gif
