X-box Music Mixer

I've been seeing the X-BOX Music Mixer in stores pretty cheap.  Does anyone what mechanism it uses to tranfer audio from your computer and whether it could be used to transfer other data.  For instance, could I use it to bootstrap a savegame exploit rather than using a memory card?
