How Is This Possible?
« Reply #45 on: May 21, 2004, 12:10:00 PM »

Well his computer kept giving a hard disk error.  My friend got a new 80GB HD since he had a guarantee.

Just to recap..

I build hd from scratch, generate pw, lock it w/ that pw.. And I'm done right?

Just to remind you.. I have all the font hacks and all that stuff already on my C, so do I need to run that hacks thing?

Correct! Using the right eeprom of course. And by careful with the locking tools. Triple check the passwords you enter and do as told and backup the log files.

I put the eeprom.bin from the original HD.  I'm assuming that's the right one...?

Also, do I have to use that hacks stuff since I already put all the font hacks and everythong in C:/ .

If you allready put your soft-hacks in the C and E folder on the CD, than there is no need to use the softpack.

Yeah I'd think so, just making sure..

Just to make sure, before I try it with the new hard drive, the eeprom.bin that I got from the original HD is the one I'm suppose to use right?
