QUOTE (Jeppe99 @ Apr 27 2004, 11:14 PM)
Thats what i did...
Didn“t work..
Perhaps the crystal box have a newer dash version then the one that comes with slayers 2.5..?
Could somebody check their crystal box and check what dash version they have.., Pleaze

It doesn't work with your Xbox because the Crystal Xbox (Kernel 57xx) does NOT allow downgrades.

you just need some newer live 2.0 dashfiles. that is the default.xbe of 1.83 mb and the xboxdashdata.17f14d00 folder. not sure if you need the xodash folder also. you are not able to upgrade through a game cuz it wants to use the old dash to do the upgrading so that will give an error in your situation. A chip would work also ofcourse.

yeah maybe the unplugging caused the error cuz it wants to boot the dash to set the clock etc... You should still be able to hotswap somehow and get that c drive you got from that other xbox. But you'd be better of with a chip anyway with that damn crystal.

just get an image of an original HD from a crystal. Restore the image on your messed up hd. Use mech assault or any other gamesave exploit en tsop the chip.
